Process

All pieces are delivered directly to Paint It Like New! We recommend that you show us any damage on the pieces when we receive them. It is also important to request any holes (hardware)  be filled at this time. Most double screw handles are very difficult to find replacements for.  Some people even decide to fill single pull holes on kitchens as they are not in a very accessible spot.

Our sanding technicians will fill holes as necessary.  We will then sand and clean the item with TSP (TriSodium Phosphate) and rinse it. Next your project  will have a coat of primer paint  applied by our professional painters with  turbine spray -  a commercial-grade Sherwin Willliam latex primer paint. Then the pieces are lightly sanded again. Finally your pieces will receive an under and  two topcoats of Aura®, the low VOC (volatile organic chemicals) latex acrylic paint from Sherwin Williams.

You can choose any colour you want from the Benjamin Moore palette and from four sheens –  semi gloss, satin, eggshell or flat.   Our whole process takes 2-3 weeks, depending on the  volume of customers we are currently servicing. You pay a small deposit on drop-off and the balance is paid when you pick up your project. We take Visa, Mastercard or Debit.
