You know that old saying “You can’t see the forest for the trees” well late last year we had an unusual request to spray several different types of wood, in several different colour’s in MANY shapes and sizes. The call came from a local artist Laura Marotta who had been dreaming up a sculptural art display that none of us could ever imagine in our years of spraying.

Earlier this year we had Jennifer Flores from Rambling Renovators come into the shop with a vanity she had purchased from a big box store at a great price. It was a brand new piece but didn’t quite fit the overall look they were going for. At Paint it Like New, we’re big believer’s in changing the color and hardware of a piece of furniture to make a piece truly your own.

At the shop we rarely get to see a sneak peek into our customer’s homes, so when we do get a full-blown customer before and after photo shoot we’re ecstatic and we just want to share with all of you DIY’er’s just how awesome a reno can be!
Here is the before:
The kitchen was painted in Manchester Tan HC-81, and the counter tops were changed out for a natural stone. They added a new back splash and the hardware and appliances remained the same.
Here is the after:
Here’s what they had to say about this stunning, and not-too-painful kitchen makeover!
“I just wanted to send a note of thanks and some before and after shots of our kitchen so that you could see firsthand how much impact your work has had on our kitchen renovation. We were able to turn our outdated kitchen into a modern space by keeping materials that were functional like the appliances and cabinetry and by simply replacing the counter top and hardware. The cabinets and Paint-it-Like-New were the starting point and inspiration for this transformation.”

Upcycle has a new model named Bailey! She came into the shop to try on her new hand knit sweater which fit like a glove!
I referred my clients to you, to have a bathroom drawer painted after it was damaged just a week before we planned to list their house for sale. A million thanks to you & your team for squeezing in this rush job and doing a fantastic job. You could not tell the difference between the original plastic coated drawers and the painted finish you did.
Outstanding work! I plan to refer many more clients to you for the superior work and customer service you provide. You also
painted my kitchen cabinets earlier this year and they still look incredible.
Thank you,thank you, thank you.
